How to make a ramped tempo in Qtractor between two tempo marks?

Post by digitsun »

Hi,

I want to achieve a slow transition when change of tempo marks. In my project I have a first mark tempo (128 bpm) and a second mark (90 bpm). But the transition is very hard and the effect is very annoying.

How to achieve a slow transition between Qtractor's tempo marks?

I found that I want achieve is called some ramped tempo I fond a explanation in the Ardour manual.

Maybe in my first post I don't communicate in a clearly way. I want to make in Qtractor is that the tempo dicreases over time when the next tempo section arrives, in a ramped form.

sorry. qtractor does not support tempo ramps (accelerando nor ritardando's) and never will, sorry again :)

you may "fake it" by inserting several tempo changes in the tempo/time-signature map, or by a "clever" use of the Timeshift MIDI tool on a MIDI clip region.

Don't worry Rui, rather thanks for your work. Keep movin'

Now I adapt my workflow to Qtractor.
