Problem with sampler audio in Qtractor

Hi people,
well, I finally bought my MIDI controller. So I am now experimenting and trying to record my first song.
On the bright side:
I was able to route MIDI and so I can see MIDI coming in the mixer and I can also record MIDI events in tracks.

On the downside:
I connected my Blue Tooth speaker and if I play a movie using VLC sounds go out fine on the speaker, but:
1. when I click play on Qtractor, the metronome sounds through my laptop speakers (not really a problem)
2. I tried loading plugins on tracks, and I cannot hear any audio - even if while using "Sampler Stereo" the green light pulses like there is audio output
(my audio is routed from Qtractor to system playback_1 and playback_2)

I am most surely missing some steps here, but I cannot get what it can be.
Any hint/help will be highly appreciated.

In another track I have loaded sfizz and loaded a soundfont called "pick_bass" that I saw posted around here.
I set volume to 64 and pan to 64.
I click on the virtual keyboard in the lower part of sfizz and no sound, not on the speakers, not on the mixer.

I am surely missing something.

So I started reading Qtractor .pdf manual, and saw that a plugin called Yoshimi is used as a example.
So I created a new session, and a MIDI track in it, and added Yoshimi as a plugin and... Voila! I got sound. It goes out through my laptop speakers, but this is a progress.
I will try now to see if it will work with a cable going from the headphones output to my speaker.

But I must confess that I do not understand why Yoshimi plays a sound and the other plugins do not.
Looks like some default in Yoshimi is right and I should configure it manually in the other plugins, but I do not know what this can be.

So I am now recording a new song using Yoshimi.
Of course I would like to know what is going on behind the scene so I can use other plugins later.

It must be a MIDI track.

Track -> Auto Monitor has to be enabled and the track must be selected
or
the track's Monitor button has to be activated in the mixer view

but what's wrong with sfizz, liquidsfz or even linuxsampler? and others ...

please know that all and every sfz implementations may differ in the details; no one is best, they all are just different interpretations of the spec

no one is better than the other, just different. (and that I challenge any, and I really mean ANY of the LLMs/GPT+ to fool you on your natural/human ears:))
