Editing samples with Ardour (video)

Post by d.healey »

I have a YouTube channel where I provide tutorials on making sample libraries using free software tools. Recently I made a video demonstrating my process for cutting samples using Ardour.

That sounds like a Liverpool accent.

Well, you're definitely British, and not too far from Liverpool. I can distinguish between London, Birmingham, Newcastle, Liverpool, Irish, Scottish, Welch, and Australian accents. And your accent is a dead ringer for the Liverpool area.

Am I right?

Closer to Newcastle, I grew up near Middlesbrough.

BTW there is more than one "London" accent, same for Irish, Scottish, Welsh, Birmingham, and Australian - not sure about Liverpool and Newcastle though, but I would expect different varieties there too.

Oh, you're in the north. I can recognize a person with a Newcastle accent. I just can't understand a word of what he's saying.
