Mixbus v7 experiences, anyone?
Harrison is offering "crossgrade" or cross upgrade from regular Mixbus to 32c for a hundred bucks, which would be a nice price. I'm really hesitant, though, because I can't find any good resources on what's actually updated or fixed. Or if things are just more broken. I'm currently sitting in v5 and have very mixed feelings. For me Mixbus has been fairly stable; I have reported one bug to Ardour in 2018 and it's still marked as New and unassigned. Mixbus forum is full of people reporting stability issues.
Do you have first hand experience with v7? I'd love to hear it. What features are new? Are there new issues?

Haven't yet upgraded, but I am going to. I anyway support Mixbus, and also donate to Ardour.
I think there is some bugs fixed I have reported, but have to say cannot remember which ones

Re: Mixbus v7 experiences, anyone?
I've used Mixbus since v2.5 and 32C since v4 (?) and am quite pleased with it, and have experienced almost none of the issues others have reported on their forums. It appears to me most of said issues are on Windows or Mac, with the forum Linux section being comparatively very quiet.
Two scenarios present themselves here:
1. Mixbus works better on Linux than other platforms
2. Windows and Mac users are less likely to configure their systems properly thus making them suboptimal for audio
It could be a bit of both.
I haven't upgraded to v7 yet but plan to although it doesn't have any "must have" new features for me. The latest v6 version has been pleasantly stable and well-behaved.

I've been using MB32C 7 for a month or so.
No issues here, it's stable for me and the Rec window is a welcomed feature during sessions.
I'm on KDE Neon 18.04 with Kx Studio repos.

Re: Mixbus v7 experiences, anyone?
Picked up 32C a few weeks back. Using it for live streaming / podcast. Emulation of the 32c channel strip is serviceable. Detects my two control surfaces reliably on startup, can't say that for Ardour.
The new dedicated record window is a neat idea. Unfortunately it doesn't see netjack connections so I can't make much use of it.
Has an issue with netjack1 where each disconnect/reconnect adds RNG amount of latency. Would be nice if Harrison had a "live" mode, or the ability to key that in manually.
