Ardour: How sum your stereo tracks to mono when works with Sitala?

Post by digitsun »

I'm looking info about mixing kick and bass sounds. The first tip is mix in mono. Ok, but Sitala plugin in Ardour has a stereo midi track. So, How sum the stereo tracks to mono? or How to render or transform stereo midi track in a new mono audio track?

Specs:
Ardour: 6.6

You could use a mid/side EQ and high pass the side channel. This gives you a bit more control, sometimes basses and kicks have interesting stereo information in the mids/highs so you can mono the low end but keep what you want for the higher end.
