Qtractor without JACK

Qtractor without JACK
Does anyone know if there is a way to use Qtractor without having to start up JACK? I feel like at one point I was able to use it with strictly ALSA, but now it seems that anytime I open up Qtractor it starts the JACK audio server on its own.

I believe Qtractor requires JACK. See sections 2.6 and 2.7 in the manual - https://sourceforge.net/p/qtractor/wiki ... 0Qtractor/
