Hi,
I'm on Arch Linux, use latest QTractor and latest Calf Plugins.
I get a crash immediately when inserting a calf plugin.
This all used to work some time ago, I haven't used QTractor for a while.
Other plugins work, I guess that this is a GUI-version-clash thingie (though Calf doesn't use QT, does it?).
What's the way to go? Compile from source? QTractor or Calf or both?
Thanks for your help,
Andreas

I compile both from source and have no problems.

Are you on Arch, too?
Ok, I'll compile both from source, no problem.

Re: QTractor crashes when inserting Calf Plugin (V 0.9.21)
It showed that building QTractor alone was sufficient, doesn't crash anymore.
Now I've got that nice "calf doesn't like desktop scaling" problem, but that's another story.
(I didn't want to build calf from source, as I have pulseeffects installed, they have calf as dependency, so I was afraid to get into a dependency-hell, glad it works now).
