Hi
Hope this is the right place. I've tried my hand at creating a tutorial video about writing a simple drum part in Mixbus / Ardour (It is timeline based so they pretty much function the same). Up untill a while ago I found midi composition in Mixbus/ Ardour really hard and used Hydrogen, but now it seems easy and stable.
The description:
This video shows how to create a simple drum pattern using Ardour or Mixbus using a mouse and the supplied Black Pearl drumkit plugin. It goes on to show how to humanise the velocity and duplicate the pattern to song length.
If there is enough interest I may produce follow ups on more complicated patterns and producing a song length drum part.

That's great, I like your style as well. Clear, nice speaking voice, concise (I'm guessing you scripted that?) with no waffling and informative.
I definitely think you should do more

This was great! Very nice beginner video. I've been using the same workflow for a while, and I actually learned a thing or two from your video that will make my work more efficient. Thanks for sharing this!

Thank you for all the kind and encouraging words. There has been enough interest so I will do the sequels, just need to get a Church project out of the way first so there will be a small delay.
