Looping software

Post by Hutzpah »

I have just recently put together a looping setup base around a small
computer and midi foot pedal. I have installed Luppp and SooperLooper.
As I am completely new to this I am interested to know what software
linux musicians here are using.

What live looping software are you using?
Anyone here using a daw?

Thanks Hutzpah

A contryman of mine creates "Kluppe"-Looper, a loop-player and recorder, designed for live use: https://kluppe.klingt.org/
It works very well for me and can be compiled easily.

Debian 12 - MOTU M4, ESI Maya22 USB - Rosegarden, Reaper

Thanks for the comments.
I think I will use Luppp, now that I finally work out how to get the loops in time.
SooperLooper is very powerful but I think the linear workflow holds it back a bit.
Haven't had a go with Kluppe.
