No Sound in Rosegarden

Post by Nickademus420 »

I am running Linux Mint 19.3. I am using JACK to connect my Oxygen 8 midi controller to Rosegarden. I can see notes being recorded on a track. I cannot get sound when I play back the track. I have tried using the JACK connections window to make connections, but nothing works.
Any ideas?

What's your output device? Onboard sound card? Audio interface?

What audio connections did you make?

Rosegarden cannot produce sounds by its own. You need either some plugin instruments like fluidsynth-dssi or a hardware device that plays your MIDI notes.

That's because it's Rosegarden and not Soundgarden
