Compiled (newer?) versions of some rograms

Post by TAERSH »

Hi.

After providing the Hydrogen 1.0.0 in .deb and .tar.gz it came to mind that there's some more programs I had compiled lately.

Qtractor (up to 0.9.12, 32bit & 64bit)
Rosegarden (up to 19.12, 64bit)
Qjackctl (0.5.5 with xunique disabled, 32bit & 64bit)
Qsynth (0.5.4 with xunique disabled, 32bit & 64bit)
Aqualung (pre 1.0.0, 64bit)
Audacity (2.2.2 64bit)
Rezound (0.13, 64bit)
Drumkv1, Samplv1, Synthv1 (0.9.4, 64bit)
Traverso (0.49.6, 64bit)
Yoshimi (1.5.9, 64bit)
ZynAddSubFx (3.0.3, 64bit)

plus some more, like ALSAPlayer, Cadence, GmSynth-lv2, Helm, Newtonator, Triceratops, Qsampler & LinuxSampler in 64bit only.

If there's any interest, let me know.

Hi,

Just to double check and save your time in the event of duplication... are you aware of the KXStudio repos and that they are compatible with both Debian and Ubuntu-based distros? Not all of the packages in your list are available in KXStudio repos but some are..

Yes, thanks. I'm aware of this repository. Already downloaded everything from Applications AND PlugIns.
Only a few didn't work like Surge, which crashes on my 64bit OS.
The complete lsp-plugins are crashing on my 32bit OS.
Still a lot to check out, though.

There's also a great list of VST PlugIns: http://linux-sound.org/linux-vst-plugins.html
VST plugins compiled for native Linux. No WINE required, just a compliant host such as Ardour, Bitwig, Carla, energyXT2, QTractor, Renoise, Tracktion, and others. Updated 29 January 2020.
I downloaded also some binary stuff presented on this page. Currently too lazy to download source codes and compile.
