I need a simple AB looper I can bookmark loops for practicing troubling passages .
The best I found so far is AB Loop Player. Simple and does what I want.
Her is the web app
https://agrahn.gitlab.io/ABLoopPlayer/
But, I run the local version I installed on my pc.
My questions are:
1) I can bookmark an ab loop and sort of annotate it, but I cannot figure out where the loop is bookmarked or saved on my system.
It would be silly to create all the loops and then when I have to reinstall I lose all my loops.
Anyone know where the loops are bookmarked ?
2) Any alternative that does the same and can bookmark loops where loops can be backed up.?

Re: Simple AB Looper
I sort of answered it myself.
I did a grep on .mozilla and found that it is saved in
firefox/n0w979ra.default/webappsstore.sqlite-wal
I opened it up and it contained no path to the ABLoop it saved, so there is no way for it to recover the data.
Pity it seemed like a really great useful solution with a boneheaded implementation of saving bookmarks.
Why have bookmarks if you cannot save them and recover them again.
Silly.
I already know of timestretch player, so anything else would be appreciated.
So it will be nice if someone knows of a similar application with bookmarks that can be backed up and not dumped in a pathless firefox sqlite file.

Re: Simple AB Looper
I use sonic visualiser.
With the qm vamp plugins I detect beats / bars. Set loops.
Timestretch is built in and the melodic spectrogram can even help you identify notes if you need to transcribe things or something similar.
You can add text annotations as a layer too. Just play around with it. It is awesome.

I use Mixxx, originally a DJ-ing software, but it's really useful for practicing too:
- Detects key and you can change the key
- Change tempo way down without messing up quality too much
- And of course AB loops and cue-points, which are saved with the track

Re: Simple AB Looper
Thank you for giving AB Loop Player a try and also for your feedback!
I have just updated AB Loop Player. It is now possible to transfer loop data and player settings between different devices and web browsers via copy & paste. I hope you enjoy this new feature. Your feedback on this is highly welcome. You may also use the issue tracker on the project page on GitLab, if you like: https://gitlab.com/agrahn/ABLoopPlayer/-/issuesMy questions are:

I I really love to stay at casino hotels when I travel. My favorite one is Hard rock casino hotel https://casinos-hotel.com/hard-rock-hotel-casino.html. It's a great place to stay for a weekend, have fun and play for real money.
