QTRACTOR can't draw some notes

Hello,
i am not an expert of computer music nor music theory, so it might be an obvious question, but is there a reason why i can't draw some notes in the piano roll of Qtractor? Here's a screenshot that explains what i mean: http://i.imgur.com/HEAOzVD.png
I can't use the blank notes (E3, F#, G#, etc.).

you probably have set on a key and a *scale* that isn't the default "Chromatic" one; check View > Toolbars > Scale:
