Is there a DAW where the mixer can control the hardware audio input/output of my sound card?
Otherwise I always have two settings, mixer of DAW and $alsamixer/hdspmixer/..., that I can/must use.

Re: DAW Mixer control the hardware audio input/output
Does it exist elsewhere? From my experience, I can tell that soundcards are always controlled with an external control app. Maybe Presonus Studio One has something like what you want, but this functionality does now work in WINE. I think there's simply no way to achieve what you want, except adding this to a host of your choice by yourself.
