Make the midi track bigger on the left you'll see the piano keys. The midi track == pianoroll

I don't have it installed anymore so I can't describe very accurately, but I remember it's just a matter of clicking and dragging some line on the far left side of the track so as to make a certain screen element bigger. As soon as you do that, the piano roll shows up.
