[SOLVED] Ardour only captures Yoshimi when stopped

I have Ardour 4 setup with a few mono audio tracks for guitar (no problems there), and a stereo audio track for Yoshimi.
As long as Ardour transport is stopped (no tracks playing), I can hear Yoshimi play through Ardour. I can also see the volume meter in Ardour go up and down for the Yoshimi track and for the Ardour Master track.

But as soon as I want to play Yoshimi along some recorded guitar tracks, Ardour doesn't capture anything from Yoshimi anymore. Whenever I press the play button in Ardour, it stops capturing Yoshimi. What am I doing wrong?

Have you checked your input channels? Select yoshimi as your input?

If I have understood correctly, Ardour captures and records Yoshimi when the track is record enabled and the main record button is enabled too,
but
it doesn't capture Yoshimi when the track is record enabled but not the main record button because you just want to play along with the other tracks,
for example to practice before actually recording.

In the main menu, go Transport -> Auto Input
I am not sure if it has to be enabled or disabled, but try changing that.

Today I started my Claudia studio exactly as I had saved it, and it all worked fine. Didn't change anything... No idea what happened...
