Hi there,
I asked the same question on the KVR Board, but no one answered. Maybe you guys have an idea?
I'm currently working on a live setup which should combine bitwig and sooperlooper under linux. I'd love to do it completely under the hood of bitwig, but I can't get live looping to work properly and without clicks at the beginning or ending of the samples and overdubbing audio is not within eyeshot...
My main problem right now is, that I can't use a2j midi alongside bitwig. I have to use midi controllers for both of the programs, but if I can't use the a2j bridge, I'm not able to control either sooperlooper or bitwig via midi. Is there any way out of this mess?
I'd really appreciate your help here!
Thanks indeed
Johannes

Re: Advanced Looper Setup w Sooperlooper & Bitwig under Linux
Hm I already tried to solve the problem by using jackass. The Problem is, that Bitwig - as soon as I start the audio engine - does not allow to access any alsa device outside the DAW. That means that I can't make any midi connections with catia (ladish) to hardware controllers or instruments.

Use virtual raw midi devices with the snd-virmidi driver ?
