Qtractor on Gnome: Solo/Mute/Record button colors

I wonder if anyone else has this issue, or if there's an easy workaround:

When I run Qtractor on my Antergos system under Gnome, the Solo/Mute/Record buttons on the tracks don't change color when clicked. This makes it really hard (especially with my crummy eyesight) to distinguish which track is armed or soloed.

When I've used it under other Desktop environments or window managers (LXDE, XFCE, awesome) it changes the buttons to bright Yellow/blue/red respectively, and it's easy to see.

I'm wondering if there's a theming issue or if this is just an unavoidable QT/GTK3 conflict. I guess I could switch the DE on my music computer, but I kind of like Gnome's overall vibe when I work on music (and I'm too lazy to write another awesome WM config).

Try changing themes in Qtractor: view -> options -> tab display -> style theme

Maybe there's one that works better for you.

Thanks. I did try the other themes, but anything other than the default left me with a lot of unreadable text (and didn't fix the button issue, IIRC).

I found a combination that works:

Color Theme: KXStudio
Style Theme: Windows

It's a nice dark gray theme, with actual different colors for the R-M-S buttons

if running a qt4 build try the "plastique" style; on qt5 build i find the "fusion" style my favorite.
