I want a software that can loop on the fly for live performance through a Midi Keyboard and microphone.
I was using Ableton Live to accomplish this (which I have installed through Wine but uses too much CPU), and I know there is Bitwig that is similar to Ableton Live. Is there any other alternatives that are compatible with Linux?
I am trying to do similar performance as the artist Ed Sheeran. Thank you

You could look at giada, it's pretty good for that kind of thing.

seq42 and/or seq24. Think there is sequencer64 https://github.com/ahlstromcj/sequencer64.

If you mean live looping with a loop pedal like in some Ed Sheeran youtube video, then sooperlooper is what you want.

This is an interesting program. I followed the instructions on their website and tried to install it, but for some reason its not popping up under my programs.gimmeapill wrote:Luppp maybe:

I'll try the SooperLooper as well, that one looks interesting as well. Thank you everyone for your suggestions. If you have more go ahead and post them.Drumfix wrote:If you mean live looping with a loop pedal like in some Ed Sheeran youtube video, then sooperlooper is what you want.

@xtianstar12 I Like Luppp. It doesn't show up in my applications menu after installing either, but you can find it by doing a search for "luppp"

Sooperlooper is a really good program. Owen Pallett uses it professionally (albeit on a Mac, but still, same thing)
