Re: rosegarden dont recognice sox
Hm, looks like rosegarden doesn't like you. Perhaps you should really try some other program?

Re: rosegarden dont recognice sox
jajajaja
xD
i think that too!!
im using a mix of a lot of programs ardour, rosegarden and very virtual instruments like hydrgen zinsubadfx, qsinth.
The thing is what i can do it simply under windows but i want change it for linux and the best program for midis is rosegarden.
im using ardour for record and use samples but is very strange to use it with two diferents programs for just that
thing

Re: rosegarden dont recognice sox
Actually, I prefer using many different programs that do one thing really good, intead of trying to do everything. That's why I'm one of few who are rather sceptical concerning the planned midi support in Ardour3
I don't do much midi, I must admit (apart from MMC and MTC), but I've had some fun with Muse. Or even better Seq24. But give LMMS a testdrive, looks like a fun programm.

Sorry for the OT, but since we are so few, I had to "+1" this.spm_gl wrote:Actually, I prefer using many different programs that do one thing really good, intead of trying to do everything. That's why I'm one of few who are rather sceptical concerning the planned midi support in Ardour3
Those implementing MIDI on Ardour3 could work on improving Rosegarden instead (or some other program, they all can be improved, instead of reinventing the wheel).

Re: rosegarden dont recognice sox
someone on the ubuntu forums mentioned that this issue has been fixed in this version of rosegarden-audiofile-importer. You might try backing up your rosegarden-audiofile-importer, replacing it with the one from SVN, and seeing if that helps.
If not, https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+sour ... bug/356827 and http://forum.jacklab.net/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=880 might be worth a shot.
