Hello.
I usually record audio with Ardour and add a drum track with Hydrogen, using the nice feature that is sync'd JACK transport.
There is a problem, though: if I start from anywhere other than the very beginning of the song, the sync is not perfect. This is very, very annoying, because it means that even to write the drums of the last bar of the song, I have to start over every time I want to hear what I'm doing.
Is there any workaround?
Thanks.

Re: Hydrogen, Ardour, and JACK transport
I can't help at all with the solution, only to say that it SHOULD sync from anywhere in the song.
When writing drum tracks I use the same set-up that you seem to be trying. I put Hydrogen in song-mode and control transport inside Hydrogen. Ardour follows along perfectly. I have jack set up as my external time-code source in both Ardour and Hydrogen.
I know this isn't any real help, but just encourage you to keep searching for an answer to why they are not syncing correctly, because they surely will and a powerful pair for producing great tracks.
