No MIDI sound with Rosegarden

glowrak guy, it's an old Korg X5, it use to work okay with midi, so hopefully also on a Linux system.

The X5 should have an option to 'turn local off'

This will direct it's midi signals to it's midi out port, where it can reach your linux instruments.
Local on/off is pretty standard on keyboards that have an internal sound engine.
Local on is for using it's internal supply of genious

Yes, it has this 'Local on/off' function, - and nice to hear it works with Linux also (Not that I expected otherwise but still)
