I'm new to this forum, so first of all a big hello to everybody.
Since a couple of weeks Rosegarden behaves pretty curious. When opening up a matrix editor I can play the lefthand vertical keyboard and hear the sound as normal. But playing edited music doesn't work with the outgoing alsa ports. RG plays the starting midi events only. The songposition pointer runs accurately, the mixer shows outgoing signals, but aseqdump connected to any RG's alsa output shows the beginning CC data and the first note of each track only.
- I use TangoStudio 2.2 with RG14.02. Even with RG12.04 I have the same problem.
- Same issue with a fresh configured user and a new song.
- Using qsynth as an internal track plugin works, but I don't want to reconfigure all my .rg songs.
I'm running out of ideas ...
