Ocenaudio now with jack support

Post by stanlea »

I was waiting for that improvement.I really like the workflow of Ocenaudio, thus it's not opensource.

The first jack aware package that complains about missing libjack0. But if I want to install libjack0 it would make a mess of my system deleting lots of programs.

It may be a fine program but it always becomes clear that hiding the sourcecode is bad for the user.

Looks promising, but it just crashes with an assertion on my Ubuntu box. Let's see what the devs have to say about this.

Works with AVlinux 6.0.4 (32 bit debian). I'm not sure Jack support is new. At any rate its implemented with PortAudio which means jack ports are transient which is annoying (i.e. same situation as Audacity).

Can't play 96000 Hz files when Jack is running at 44100 :(
