Synth/midi controller in linux to work with Ardour

Hi there. Can anyone suggest me a couple of sytnth/virtual instruments to use in conjunction with Ardour and a midi controller?

I use ZynAddSubFX or I use qsynth soundfont host with a decent soundfont.
