@Basslint

Yea, sounds reasonable enough.
Thanks for the hint, I'll change the name to something less risky then.

Re: new GxFenderizer.lv2

mm, I searched the United States Patent and Trademark Office data base, where are 246 entry's for "Fender", but not a single one for "Fenderizer"
So I'm not sure how far such Trademarks get.

btw. this is the Fenderizer:

Re: Reaper starts to implement LV2

Someone always pays a price when a hobby, or attempts to gain valuable skills/experience/continuing-education leads to someone missing personal interaction. Could be kids, spouses, parents, siblings, valuable friends, strangers in need... and of course the coders themselves. This is VERY true and a...

Re: Reaper starts to implement LV2

Software never is free, the ideas, the creations, and the distributions all have a price. The term "free", did not only mean "free as in beer", when we talk about software. It may also mean "open source", which I guess was referenced for here. Even, "Open Source&q...

Re: Jack-Audio process callback time period

Otherwise, if two (or more) apps have different rates/buffer sizes, then that will force JACK to do sample rate conversion, and/or extra buffer copying, on-the-fly. JACK is more efficient when all its running apps use the same settings. JACK don't do any sample rate conversation at all. If your app...

The most recent audio apps within a Debian stable based distribution you'll get with LibraZiK IMO.

Re: xruncounter script not running under Manjaro Linux

Hi @lilith
rgrep is a variant of grep, usually comes with the grep package, I see it isn't part of the Arch grep package anymore.
However, we could use grep -r instead.
I've pushed a fix to the repository.

Re: Wow! GxPlexi!!!!

Yea, for live using virtual amps you must turn off direct monitoring. Depending on the sound-card you use, that is possible in hardware, or with the alsa mixer for the card. To find the controller for it I usually turn down all input controls, then connect my guitar input with the output in jack, an...

Re: Wow! GxPlexi!!!!

@funkmuscle
are you going with latest master from guitarix? Some work have been done, mainly by ZamAudio on the tube emulation, which improve the dynamic response a lot.

Otherwise, thanks, my friend, letting me know that some of the plugs I've done been of some use.

Re: Guitarix2 release version 0.42.1

is it possible to build the JCM 800 tonestack plugin using the DK simulator Yes it is, but I don't really know why we should do that. The LV2 version of the jcm800pre already contain the tonestack, and the version in guitarix could use the tonestack plugin. If you like the caps tonestack more, just...

Re: Guitarix2 release version 0.42.1

you should configure with --no-faust all sources comes pre-build, so there is no need to re-build sources from faust level. btw. the error seems to be related to rd.maxn(), last releases I use rd-mean(), but that only gives a vague level indicator. rd.maxn() is much better (and I use it before for m...
