Yeah i think this is a known bug in the sound loop deamon. I get the same issue. Ardour will not export if the alsa jack bridge is started.
For now the solution seems to be to stop the alsajack bridge.

Re: Audio Recorder
The limitation is probably more to do with the tiny little contact picup on the phone rather than android or the application, though it would be nice to be able to adjust the microphone level as it may help somewhat. If its distorted then your probably at the limit of what the mic on your phone can ...

Re: KXStudio recent updates - any problems?
VirtualBox needs a package update, see: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/virtualbox/+bug/1076603/ The ubuntu guys are working on it and should place an update soon. You can enable the precise-proposed repos to get the virtualbox update and then disable them (google how to do this if needed...

Re: KXStudio recent updates - any problems?
It's a known issue with gst-plugin-scanner. I'm considering just repackage gstreamer and remove that thing... after you start kdenlive, kill gst-plugin-scanner twice and it will not bother you again. Cool, i dont use the packaged version of kdenlive but thought it would help others who do...

Re: Mbox1 no capture ports
I've still not heard anything back from the developer, but i believe i have found a possible fix for the solution.
There is a firmware update that addresses this problem but the update is for mac osx :/ and since i dont own a mac i cannot download the fix....

Re: How to get KXStudio repos on a Debian system
the xfce meta-package will go away, and probably the kde one as well. I want people to use whatever desktop they prefer. Having meta-packages for 1 or 2 DEs causes the impression that those are the only supported desktops (I think). Exactly what i was looking for, as much as i love the KDE envirome...
