Re: Ultralight AVB

+1 for this interface. By far the best interface I've used on linux. They just released a touch friendly tab in the web interface and it works petty good. It's in beta state now so it should get better with the next firmware release.

There was an attempt to add it it to kernel i believe but it has gone nowhere. I'd welcome this as my MOTU Ultralite AVB works really good through USB already. It would be icing on the cake.

OvertoneDSP? Is Mike ok?

Hey guys. Hope the community is doing well. I noticed the last couple of weeks that the OvertoneDSP site is down and anything linked to it is down. I read somewhere that he fell ill and disappeared. Anyone know if he is ok?

Re: Support of audio interfaces under Linux

I'm running a MOTU Ultralite AVB and it sees 24/24 or 32/32 channels no problem. I can even get it @96k 24/24 in/out without too much stress on the system I have. The expandability alone will come in handy when the needs grow and very much worth it. Very much worth the $ if you're serious about audi...

Re: Free Fender amp Impulse Responses

Hi, This is a huge topic, but put very simply, an impulse response is like an "audio snapshot" of a particular acoustic space (in this case, a particular amp cabinet with a particular microphone set at a particular distance in a particular room). All modern amp simulators, from AmpliTube ...

Re: Free Fender amp Impulse Responses

Forgive me guys but how do we use these files. With Guitarix? Will I need another program? Is this in essence a sampler file for guitars?

Re: [ANN] ZynAddSubFX 3.0.0 - Zyn-Fusion

Hey Fundamental I just finished my first service using Zyn-Fusion live and sad to say it wasn't stable at all. I had to reboot twice for some reason to finally bind MIDI mappings, saving bindings/master escapes me as it doesn't load, and a few other quirks. Not sure if it's because I'm using Element...

Also how does a headless setup work? Could it work with touchscreen Android tablet on the same network? I just made the purchase and there's not much documentation on setup

Re: [ANN] ZynAddSubFX 3.0.0 - Zyn-Fusion

Wanted to ask how stable this is for those that are using this? I'm planning to use something like this live so can't have any crashes or weird GUI issues. Anyone using this in a live situation?

Re: OSCDisplay

OSCDisplay is a very simple Android app that displays incoming OSC messages on the screen. Preference settings allow listening on any given port number and/or multicast address. https://github.com/jhammen/OSCDisplay In the works right now is functionality to associate a given OSC address with a cus...

Re: [ANN] ZynAddSubFX 2.5.4 - The “Alambradas” Release

I don't know how it's possible to see '/part0/Penabled:T:' with a current version of the zyn/rtosc code. This would imply that the path is '/part0/Penabled' and the argument string is 'T:' which is an invalid argument string as ':' is not a valid argument type. Do you have an old version of liblo? ...

Re: [ANN] ZynAddSubFX 2.5.4 - The “Alambradas” Release

Tried the adjusted script but nothing happens when toggling it. It's possibly the qOSC app I'm using on android. Hm, that's odd does dump_osc show the right message? There's a chance that qOSC isn't sending 'T/F', but it might be sending something like 1.0 and 0.0 expecting the receiver to translat...

Re: [ANN] ZynAddSubFX 2.5.4 - The “Alambradas” Release

'/part0/Penabled T' seems to work fine when the messages are sent directly to zyn. If you want to send them through the float->int python script then it needs a slight tweak resulting in: import sys import liblo class TranslateOSC: def callback(self, path, args, types, src): if(str(src.port) == str...

Re: [ANN] ZynAddSubFX 2.5.4 - The “Alambradas” Release

fundamental: Has the OSC code for

Code: Select all

/part[0,15]/Penabled T
or

Code: Select all

/part[0,15]/Penabled F
been tested? I'm trying to use it as a mute function as Zyn doesn't have that capability or at least not that I can see.

Re: new (LV2) Analogue Bass Pre Amp Simulation

Tried adding this to my Gentoo system in /usr/lib/lv2 and Ardour won't load the plugin. It says it won't instantiate.

Edit: Nvm. It does show in Ardour but with the generic GUI.
