Re: saugns v0.4.0 -- now good for soundscape audio scripts

I thought of making and submitting packages to Linux distros and BSDs I use earlier, but didn't get to it. I worried -- probably far too much -- that pushing people to use my program, and then making changes that break old scripts for it, may piss people off. But I've heard so little from people us...

Re: It's good time to go home (Video+music)

Dear psyocean, I think you are at your best here. I also like some of your synth work (especially when you mix it with electric guitars) but I hope you will do more guitar-based (classical, acoustic, electric; solo or not) tracks!

Re: Chase | Dark DnB

Sounds really cool! Really like the percussive synth sounds and the organ-like sound with the bass below, as well as how you bring together all layers. I have to say that I listened to Beast and honestly did not like it, but greatly enjoyed this one. This is a good reminder: never judge an artist fr...

Re: I Lean to You

It reminds me of Angelo Badalamenti's style, which is very unique. And this track is also very unique, as it sounds like a mix of classical, jazz-fusion, lounge, ambient and minimalism. Liked it very much!

Re: saugns v0.4.0 -- now good for soundscape audio scripts

So cool, thanks! Made an openSUSE package for it. Only two things, from the perspective of a packager. In the Makefile it would be better for us packagers if instead of PREFIX = /usr/local you wrote: PREFIX ?= /usr/local /usr/share/examples is not owned by any system package by default and this crea...

Re: Mistakes

I don't think I can dislike any of your tracks, they are so well-produced and so musical! :D How did you obtain that guitar sound?

Re: Sandpaper Walls -Jehanne with The Argent Grub

I like it a lot! You brought back a very nice indie pop sound from the 90s (epitomized by bands like Lush), a sound that sounds still as fresh and certainly benefits Jehanne's timbre. I liked this track A LOT, I mean, go ahead! You should do a full album with her.

Re: Let You Out

Excellent songwriting and arrangement! I like the orchestral mellotron-ish parts, the McCartney-like bass, the power pop sweet synths. Really like this track, can we consider you the starter of a "Beat italiano" revival? :D

Re: GeekosDaw broke my sound ?

I just did zypper dup, and saw pipewire updating, but still the same problem. Do I need to wait longer ? Or also run GeekosDaw update ? Sound is fine with headset connected directly to the mobo. :) It must be a regression in Pipewire. It will probably fix itself sooner or later (even sooner, if you...

Hello,

today we updated Pipewire to the latest version in Factory but it seems some patches were added 2 hours ago. Please wait for the next update (just pushed it) and report back. Thanks!

Re: Wherever, Whatever, Whenever

The orchestration and sounds reminds me a lot of Renaissance, a band that if you know me you'll know means a great deal to me: same 70s/80s orchestral prog vibes, especially in thr gorgeous part at 3:05. The strings in particular are quite luscious. Fantastic job! I am a fellow Renaissance fan, eve...
