TAL Bassline

Hi.
I see it was possible to "export" some TAL plugins to Linux.
Is it possible to have TAL Bassline TAL U-NO-60 and TAL-Chorus-LX.
Thank you

Re: kxstudio repos + which OS? What do you like?

I use Ubuntu Budgie 16.04 with KXStudio repository. Works great and Budgie is really nice.

Re: What do you like to see in your distro out of the box?

Simple: Instead of a multimedia distro like Ubuntu Studio , Kxstudio or AVLinux, we need a distro with JUST audio software. When i say just, i really mean JUST! No office, no messengers, no email client, (maybe) no browser, no cups server, etc. I had a similar idea some time ago: release THE audio ...

Re: Generic and Lowlatency kernels on the same machine?

I always turn off WiFi. Good point! It took me from hundreds of bursting xruns to just the few I have now. I found out per this thread that the Nvidia driver could interfere with audio. So I just activated the Open Source version. And (fingers crossed) not an xrun so far! :D Yeah, i never use the N...

Try disabling wifi, or better yet, all network cards.

Re: Generic and Lowlatency kernels on the same machine?

Hi.
I've never used Mint, but you can have as many kernels installed as you want in Ubuntu. You can choose which one to use at boot time.

Re: Waves Tracks Live

I built it shortly after being officially announced. It's missing the file dialogs on Linux, so you can't open files... It also does not support plugins, or MIDI. I don't think it's worth building it. We're not its target audience anyway. It's tailored for recording only. They removed (or hide) eve...

Re: Waves Tracks Live

I've tried to compile it yesterday on Solus Linux. Not the best distro to do this since they don't package all needed libraries. Tried to compile the missing ones myself but somehow it did't work. I was stuck on Liblo, and ended up messing too much with Solus that it doesn't boot now :? Have you rea...

Waves Tracks Live

I know we have Ardour (and others), but have anyone tried to compile it on Linux? Ardour's Paul main developer said last year that "It needs almost no work to port it to Linux - I did my development work on Tracks on Linux already. There are about 4 functions related to file browsing that need ...

Hmmmm. Not that great? Some people says it's as good as Maag EQ4. Didn't test it myself thought....
Can be a very good addition to Linux :D
