You need QSynth, Yoshimi or an other virtual keyboard.

I've just tried guitarix for the first time. Congratulations. Very good tool. I've only one issue. When I open guiarix, I got the message Load preset file *** preset File /home/hallo/.guitarix/guitarixpre_rc doesn't exist (twice) in that folder is only a ''guitarix-rd. should I rename it? Yes - a go...

Maybe it has something to do with the 'ondemand'-script in /etc/init.d

That doesn't work for me. I put in my rc.local
I also tryed and But in a few minutes it's back on 'ondemad'

Does anybody figure out, how to set it permanently to 'performace' in Ubuntu 10.4?
