QTractor has no buid in soundgenerator. afaik
You need QSynth, Yoshimi or an other virtual keyboard.

I've just tried guitarix for the first time. Congratulations. Very good tool. I've only one issue. When I open guiarix, I got the message Load preset file *** preset File /home/hallo/.guitarix/guitarixpre_rc doesn't exist (twice) in that folder is only a ''guitarix-rd. should I rename it? Yes - a go...
