Short intro: I'm a Dutch sax player - playing in a woodwind orchestra and 2 coverbands for which I also do some of the horns arrangements.

During the day I work as a software analyst/engineer at a mostly-Java shop, but I also like to hack on software in other languages, notably Rosegarden.

I rather like Rosegarden - in fact, liked it so much I dove in and added a couple of features I missed. However, one thing I dislike about RG as wel as all the other GUI's I tried is that (especially for 'popular' music arrangements) you end up copy-pasting an awful lot. Also a chat will not be needed since there's a IRC already.. and also again, it's better to connect with the whole linux audio music making community cause...
