Im using Hydrogen and would like a sustained cymbal rattle to go for more than one beat. Seems like when you stretch it, it just repeats. Anyway around that? I am playing alternative rock and when there are silent portions I want that rattle you know.

Would these solutions work for say calling up and listening to a finished mp3? I want to be able to listen to the finished product thru gnome player once I get it to desktop.

Any way to get regular sound out of this interface? Like be able to go to youtube when I'm not recording and such and watch/listen to videos? I have fooled around with the sound card in Tango Studio to no avail. The only way I seem to be able to get desktop sound is thru my onboard soundcard on my c...

Am really new to Midi and this Akai keyboard. The piano keys used play drums when I initially tried it but I must have remapped it unintentionally. In addition I would like to place certain beats in certain places on the keyboard and keypad etc. How might I go about doing this?

New to synthesizers here and alot more. When I look at the instrument tab in Zynaddsubefx, it is blank, there are not instruments. Is there a place to get those instruments? I am using Tango Studio and it uses Synaptic Package Manager. Is there an apt or yum command to grab all the instruments?

I get the same above when I plug guitar into the input instead of microphone. Its not splitting the channel on record. That's what you want right?

I wouldn't use HPET clocksource (-c h option), same for the seq MIDI driver (-Xseq). Disable those and try again. And you might want to try different USB ports.
