Welcome! First thing, check if the right sound card is selected as the default one in your audio settings in KDE Plasma.

Re: Hello from Arch

Welcome! Depending on what kind of music you do, there are many good plugins out there (VST or LV2). Definitely good enough to make even great music. Go check out the various Libre Music Challenges (which are held in this very forum, in The Producer's Area) to hear what people have achieved using on...

Re: Fender Mustang LT25

https://github.com/offa/plug

This is the software which supports most Fender Mustang amps. It seems from an open bug report that your model is not supported. But you could help the developer implement support for it, it seems like it is actively developed.

Thanks for pointing it out. I did try mastering it... Could you be more specific on what I could try to do to improve it?

I can't give you a very good technical advice because mastering is something I never do, I can only tell you as a listener that vocals could be emphasized a bit more.

Re: When You Go Away

The mix is very nice but it could use some mastering. Liked the proggy parts at the end, like the best AOR :D You people played very well, the bassist was truly a tasteful player which must have been fun to mix. If she quit music, maybe she had a good reason, not everyone who is good at one thing en...

Re: D

Nice mix and choice of sounds. Since you asked for it, I think that, while your song is not amelodic, you can definitely do better with melody. It feels like it has a direction but not a goal.

Yeah, the main guitar ended up VERY distorted, partly intentional (I think I used some kind of fuzz), but I did consider redoing it with a "nicer" sound. In the end I guess I was too lazy ;)

That guitar tone is awesome! Typical "southern metal" riffer. :D

Amazing solo!

Nice one! Is it a yewtu.be bug that your tracks always start off, and end, with some 10s of a different track? Or is that your artistic vision? You never know these days :)

I think it's his intro and outro.

As for the genre, I would say electro-industrial

Re: saugns v0.4.2 -- simplified syntax, new list semantics, panning modulation

@Basslint -- since you made a saugns package before, in case you missed this thread. Thanks for the ping, I updated the package on openSUSE! We packagers have a hard time keeping track of so many releases so a kind reminder like yours is very helpful, and we can act quickly! Btw, to help packagers ...
