jamin has been dead for a while, pretty sure you can achieve the same results/signal chain using an eq + multiband compressor (eg from calf)

Also, I think there is another point that if I am not wrong has not been discussed yet: maintaining the source. If we think that the "source" is the session file, than the source is stuck with the program(s) that can handle that session file. I said this on the first page but was apparent...

If you're talking about project files rather than stems it still isn't that great to share source since you're still locked into a specific workflow. you can export it manually but that isn't the most convenient.

i think it's not in 4/4? i can't find the beat at all. i think the first element that comes in is too dynamically flat as well which could make finding the beat even harder

try looking at the settings in alsamixer too. For some reason my 1818vsl mutes all the outputs whenever I plug it in, and I have to unmute them manually in alsamixer.
