Re: Frescobaldi and Lilypond packages for Ubuntu
I figure you're right, but do you have any idea what it's like running Ubuntu? With both KDE3 and KDE4 applications? Nothing looks the same!

I really don't think I understood all that, but welcome to the forum! There are a lot of people on this forum who also use keyboards and effects, so I'm sure you will feel right at home here. Welcome@

Re: Frescobaldi and Lilypond packages for Ubuntu
Frescobaldi is a KDE app, I was asking if there is a possibility that a Gnome app or plugin could be developed?

Re: Frescobaldi and Lilypond packages for Ubuntu
I am not a programmer, but if I was, I would immediately jump into writing a similar program for Gnome. Perhaps even a plugin for something like GEdit? Any programmers who are clever in this? How difficult is something like that? (Please don't take this the wrong way - this is more of a wish than a ...

Yes, we have 11 official languages in our country! So there are a lot of radio stations, many of which use minimum 2 languages. Short an...

The point of Ubuntu (the word comes from a Zulu concept of fellow humanness) is that it is aimed at people who are not very good with computers. I am one of them, and thus use it! I would recommend using 64studio, because it is based on Ubuntu, and then just asking someone here for help if you get s...

Re: Opinions Wanted
Well done with the drums! Very good sound. I really like it, but I'm sure that a strong chorus section might well bring out something more in the song. Another pointer: a real, live, bass guitar player (a good one!) will bring something into a song that you might feel is missing! Don't stop! I like ...

Re: The Halo Blue practice "A Reflection".
Pretty good! If you want pointers, the first thing I would say is that the presence of a real drummer makes a difference. Pointer 2: get a strong bassist. Pointer 3: don't stop! You're onto something here!

I'm so sorry about the Spanish! I'm not at all familiar with those languages (except perhaps German which is nowhere near Spanish) and it was an honest mistake! No offence?
And no, I don't speak Xhosa. But my brother does. Why?
