Re: DrumGizmo kits
But it would be a complicated sfz it would be multiple ones :) To have individual control over every channel for every drum sound, each waveform channel would have to be on a separate Linuxsampler chan. That's about 9 chans per drum sound, and about 118 chans for the kit. To be honest, that's about...

Re: DrumGizmo kits
Not from those samples. it's obvious :) The original samples are standard wave files, so all you need is an sfz mapping if you want multi-channel. I know, thanks, I just want to ask if you have any kind of converting scripts, or do it all by the hands? But, if you're going to mix down to stereo any...

Re: DrumGizmo kits
Hi, j_e_f_f_g, nice work! Is there any plans to make multichannel version?
The point is that I'd like to use drumgizmo kits with linuxsampler, since I'm not really happy with drumgizmo plugin itself (resampling, window manager issues etc).

Re: OpenSource non-linux plugins out there?
just found this one:
https://github.com/stevefolta/SFZero
it's a little bit outdated (2 years since last commit), but there aren't so many sfz samplers here

Making banks that can be loaded and saved helps to avoid LONG preset lists (think jalv). fuzzy search for...

Re: skype cuts suport for alsa....and now?
for those who don't want to use pulseaudio, there is a workaround:
Code: Select all
sudo sed -i 's/4.2.0.13/4.3.0.37/' /usr/bin/skype

I prefer separate partion for /home - you can always reinstall system without loosing your personal settings.

Re: Package requests here! (New and updates)
linuxsampler linuxsampler is already packaged, and in all possible formats. you have "linuxsampler" for the standalone, then linuxsampler-dssi, linuxsampler-lv2, linuxsampler-vst and has an extra linuxsampler-lv2-32chan. install "linuxsampler-all" to get all of those. I know, th...

Re: Package requests here! (New and updates)
Maybe it was a response to me concerning drum machines? Linuxsampler-lv2 is confusing to me and I like hydrogen drumkits, drmr would be ideal if it worked properly. Drumsynth does not impress me so I guess I should look into drumkv1 and use the hydrogen samples. hydrogen drumkits don't support roun...
