Re: [Feature request] Continuous hi-hat openness

Which version are you using, and which edrumkit are you playing? Drumgizmo has been tested on (at least) alesis and roland kits, and in both cases the hihat pedal works as expected. Could you also describe what you mean by "go crazy". If this is a bug, it would be nice with some more detai...

Re: DrumGizmo: Timing Humanizer sounds worse

I have finally managed to find and fix the bug! \o/ - it was a tough one to crack!

It is being checked by our CI server now and, if all goes well, will be merged to our develop branch for inclusion in the next release.

Re: How is managed midi grouping ? how to cut a cymbal ?

There actually were regression errors on all choke-types in 0.9.19, which were fixed in 0.9.20. See https://drumgizmo.org/wiki/doku.php?id=changelog:drumgizmo-0.9.20 for more details (ctrl-f search for "choke" or "aftertouch" to find the relevant bullets) IIRC all chokes were bro...

Which version are you using?
IIRC we fixed a bug recently that made aftertouch with velocity 0 work. The bug resulted in it only working for velocities > 0.

You can stop playing notes (eg. cymbals) by sending midi aftertouch events.

Thanks for reporting.

I can easily reproduce this - that's step number one :-)

Re: How to render a midi file using DrumGizmo and the cli

That sounds great :-) What did you do to post-process the output (ie. dowmix) the resulting wav file to stereo? Edit: A quick comment on the composition. In the part start starts at https://youtu.be/JMnSWSSp9fg?t=108 is it the intension to keep the beat on the crash-cymbal? Normally I think the ride...

Re: How to render a midi file using DrumGizmo and the cli

I think, that if the midifile does not contain the tempo information in the way that the library expects, it willd efault to 120bpm. You can then set a speed multiplier on the commandline using the 'speed' parameter: drumgizmo -i midifile -I file=metal.mid,midimap=Midimap_small.xml,speed=1.2 -o wavf...

Re: How to render a midi file using DrumGizmo and the cli

If you could supply the command you used when you tried to make the render, that would be most useful. Also, note that drumgizmo does not support soundfonts, so you cannot use the black pearl kit. Instead consider trying the DRSKit from the drumgizmo website which I think should have some of the sam...

Re: DrumGizmo 0.9.20 Released!

Upon closer inspection it appears that the initial fileloading is not blocking while rendering. I have added this to the task list for the next release - thanks for reporting :-) That said, I find it odd that Reaper loads a new instance of the plugin for rendering. This means for example that a plug...

Re: DrumGizmo 0.9.20 Released!

I am using Drumgizmo 9.2.0-1 as an LV2 in Reaper in Manjaro. When I create a project using Drumgizmo, either with or without using the provided Reaper template, it sounds fine when played in Reaper, but when I render the file, at the beginning there are no drums, then some hi-hats, then the snare. ...

Re: StudioLive 24R

Sorry to revive this old thread, but I would like to know how well supported the interface is (when connected through USB that is) in the ALSA mixer?
Can the phantom-power be controlled pr. channel for example?
And does individual faders show up for all 24 pre-amps?

Re: No Ambience Channels

After further investigation, it seems that I only could get the Ambience from the kick (and other) because I had bleeding... This might have been the case before as well, and I just forgotten. The bleeding on the on other instruments is not much of a deal, but on toms is worse. I suppose there is n...

Sorry, I forgot to ask if the new kits are still in the works?

They are, although progress is really slow at the moment (aka, nobody is working actively on any of them) - but they will arrive eventually :-)

Hey guys, I'm just wondering if you guys are going to do like every other or a good amount of drum plugins do where they have beat samples are rhythm sessions. I don't know if I'm asking the right question here but usually a folder where they are midi drum rhythms that's in different categories lik...
