Ingen in Ubuntu Studio/KXStudio

Hello, I fail to install or build Ingen in KXStudio. The package ingen-svn is dysfunctional since ingen itself is simply not installed with the package. Building drobillard-lad svn does not work because it does not find the atom-extension in lv2core: Checking for 'lv2core' : yes Checking for 'lv2-lv...

Re: Remote control via Android

There is a MIDI-networkserver for Nintendo DS, that can connect Android-Controllers to Linux too: http://dsmi.tobw.net/index.php?cat_id=1 These 2 work just great for me with this: https://market.android.com/details?id=com.bti.myDrums https://market.android.com/details?id=com.bti.wirelessMixer I had ...

Re: Festige, a gui for fst

btw, once this gets done, I'll also blacklist dssi-vst in Carla, it doesn't make sense to have it there afterwards. And you are perfectly sure, that every plugin supported by dssi-vst is supported exactly the same as well or better with your built-in soluution? 98% sure. Good and sane answer ;-) So...

Nice one! :-)

I also have such ideas in LMMS whenever I play with it but in the end I lack the patience to make a living, working track like this out of them...

My new shortscale bass and Guitarix

After some 20 years playing rock-music whithout a bass I decided to go for one. But I allways hated playing normal bass-guitars so I get a Sammick Corsaire shortscale. The thingy is handy beyond believe, it feels indeed a bit better than a guitar and it sounds astoundingly bass-like. So I am quite h...

Song release after 15 years of work

Re: Xruns in Hydrogen with "death metal" drumkit

Hey guys, more than 700 msecs of latency, but the xruns still show up. And it wont let me change the size of the frame buffer in Hydrogen when connected to JACK. Is there any way to solve this? Also the fact that I've got only a 1.66 GHz Intel atom is not helping too I guess. :( Exactly: not the No...

Re: OpenOctaveMidi2

Just so we're all clear, OOM2 base code is forked from the Muse base. We wish the Muse developers the best of success now and in the future, for the important user base they are serving. We think users of both applications, OOM2 and MusE, will benefit from the alternatives available to them, with t...

Re: OpenOctaveMidi2

Now, that I have the app up and running for some houres I see, that it is a fork of Muse is it not? Finally someone has taken the effort to port that great app to QT4. But I do not see you mentioning Muse anywhere on your Website or here -- just forgot that? EDIT: Now I found it on your site. But it...

Re: OpenOctaveMidi2

Zettberlin, We've done quite few commits in the last couple of days, and the pace isn't slowing. This is a Beta release after all. If you can do a make clean, get the latest git pull, and build, then let us know what happens. Did so 10 min ago. But still: $ /usr/local/bin/oomidi Denormal protection...

Speicherzugriffsfehler (Speicherabzug geschrieben) Last line translates segfault -- what can I do? Plugins are far down on the list of todos. [/quote] Any plugins are not the issue -- I would be fine, if DSSI worked OK at this point. And if there where a switch like -s for "no VST" I woul...
