Re: is JAMin dead??

Greetings, From what I can recall, traffic on LAD/LAU indicated serious technical problems with some aspects of Jamin, but don't ask me to remember what the exact problems were. At any rate, I saw the discount price on this unit and bought it : https://www.tracktion.com/products/master-mix I haven't...

Re: BioTek

Greetings, Just to note that a trial version is now available: https://www.tracktion.com/products/biotek I tested it briefly last night in Bitwig 1.3.6. The UI is unique but easy to fathom. The included presets are impressive, and I've just got started checking them, but so far I think the sound des...

Re: Old soundfont files from hammersound.net

Hey lfz,

A great initiative ! I made a lot of use of Hammersound back in the day, nice to see someone cares enough to curate the collection. As I recall, it was a massive group of soundfonts, so bless your head for taking on the task.

Re: Call for testing: ZynAddSubFX LV2&VST plugin

Greetings,

No trouble with the build from git sources, but where's the VST ? It builds the standalone and a DSSI plugin, I'm not finding instructions for building the VST version. Did I miss something ?

Re: RaveGenerator2 VST : calling beta tester

Tested in Bitwig 1.3.5. The 32-bit plugin doesn't scan. The 64-bit version scans and loads but doesn't display its GUI. The patch list is presented in Bitwig's native container, but changing the preset there makes no change in the sound. Happy to test further ! :) EDIT: Tested successfully in Carla,...

Re: Releasing the "source code" of music

... seeing examples like Dave's is very compelling, but the biggest hurdle remains, where do I put all my files? I could release with a readme that says contact me to get the source, but as far as a public place to post it, the closest thing is musical-artifacts.com I guess. Not sure if they have t...

Re: The free synths from u-he

I noticed that the TripleCheese zip does use a .so file but an .exe file... Did you retrieve the file from the u-he site or from the KVR thread ? Again, here's the URL for the Linux betas : http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=424953 @stanlea : There's apparently a problem with th...

Re: The free synths from u-he

Greetings, Abique has added TripleCheese and the new Protoverb to the list of Linux installers. See the previously referenced KVR thread for more information about downloading. Protoverb is a new freebie from u-he. It's a rather simple reverb with an interesting design and excellent sound quality. B...
