Re: JACK / piano setting
One easy way to record midi from a keyboard is to use the program Pianoteq. However, this is a commercial program, and costs money. Pianoteq in addition to making piano sounds, records the midi of everything you play. You can also load a midi file and play with back and there is a keyboard display t...

Re: Jack stopped working after 1.5 years - no reason
You logs seem have "ERROR: JackServer::Open failed with -1" for both your "successful" and "unsucessful" starts which makes no sense. You logs claim "ERROR: control open "hw:VSL" (No such device)" -- are you sure you device is working properly? Is th...

Re: Thread for AV Linux 2020.4.10 Issues
GMaq, thanks for following up on the Systemback redundant installation problem. I'm looking forward to the new ISO so I can install to my SSD disk which only has a 20GB partition.

Re: Thread for AV Linux 2020.4.10 Issues
Thanks for documenting some issues with AV Linux 2020.4.10. Any chance of updating the ISO with a fix not to make a redundant install on /lib/live/mount? Or is there a way to avoid creating /lib/live/mount when doing an install? If I can avoid this install I can install to a smaller partition. Also,...

Re: Thread for AV Linux 2020.4.10 Issues
What size partition is needed for AVLinux 2020.4.10? I'm trying to install on 19GB partition and it fills up entirely at the 60% point of installation. In the past this size of partition worked. Thanks. ...Later, create a 35GB partition and successfully install AVLinux 2020.4.10 which requires 26GB....

Re: Free Custom Shop version of SampleTank 4 finally available
I am using wine-staging 4.0-rc2-stretch on AVLinux 2018 I find ST4 works fine up to version 4-0-9. I tried to install the Custom Shop version which comes with 4-1-0, but the installer said my version of Windows was too old. So I'm eagerly looking to upgrade to AVLinux 2020 and hoping that ST 4-1-0 w...

Re: Where to get Hydrogen-1.0.0-beta.deb?
Ok, after several more attempts I did finally get a download. Maybe I just did not wait long enough for the download panel to appear (?)
Thanks for providing the deb of Hydrogen.

datafile host appears to be a scam. If you click download you just get an ad in the tab, no download.

Re: AV Linux 2020.1.14 Release Candidate for testing only
I tried 2020.1.14 in my old LenovaW530 laptop, worked well with my KompleteAudio6 USB audio interface. I played a few synths with my keyboard. The only problem I found was that ZynAddSubFx did not work (all varieties). Tried to boot my new Dell XPS 9560, UEFI system, but could not get that to work. ...

Thanks for keeping up the good work. However the ISO link gives "403 Forbidden" error.
