Re: Arturia MicroFreak - Midi Control Center problems

I'm not to familiar with how to actually build stuff on arch, but I guess the next approach would be to make a copy of https://gitlab.archlinux.org/archlinux/packaging/packages/libusb/-/blob/main/PKGBUILD locally and try to add libusb and then build.. ..it's definitely not something I know how to d...

Re: Arturia MicroFreak - Midi Control Center problems

Can't help right away but I own a Beatstep Pro and last week I tried Midi Control Center with Wine but didn't work at all, wouldn't even install. Which Wine version are you using? And did you install it or just copy it over from an existing installation? If I can get it to work I might be able to h...

Re: Arturia MicroFreak - Midi Control Center problems

Is there any way to know what options the arch package of wine/wine-staging uses at compile time? https://wiki.winehq.org/Building_Wine libusb 1.0 libusb-1.0-0-dev libusbx-devel libusb USB device support Install only if you're using an application that accesses a USB device directly. (Note that many...

Let us know if you find a way. I'm on arch as well but it's encouraging to hear that you got it to work in mint.

Just tried it for my keystep but doesn't work. Such a shame, it would be so useful.

Re: How to load jack applications inside Carla ?

You just have to add the program name. I think you can add arguments if the program supports those but for basic use the name should work.

Re: SSL and Harrison consoles

I received the offer in an email. Harrison have been doing offers through email for years. Some of them were a good deal, like Mixbus for $19. I must have unsubscribed because I didn't get anything but I do remember the eternal $19 sale on mixbus. I've been out of the loop it seems, didn't know the...

Only I don't see the original post?
Also I can not visit the page of artix_linux_user, the site does not respond.

Yeah same here. I'd rather the thread be removed than show me as the OP since it wasn't me.

Re: How do I get PipeWire to play audio through two outputs simultaneously?

Well it sounds like you already achieved what you wanted with pipewire but you're left with two problems: a) they are not in sync b) the connection is not remembered For b) I would be curious to know what version of qpwgraph you are using. I wonder if the version in mint's repo is quite old and, for...

Finally found the crash changing the wave table, also found a crash with the noise generator. 0.0.4 is up on GitHub.

Thank you, I can confirm that I can't make it crash with the wave table change now. Impressive little synth!

For stereo imaging you should use much lower delays than 30 ms. For my taste always under 10 ms.

You can get away with up to 30ms, I've done it with hi-hats before, depends on the sound.

Why do you pick 30 sm delay for a 30% pan?

After around 35ms the brain hears them as two different sounds. It's an important number for many other things, such as pre-delay on reverb.
