Re: DGEdit export issues
Thank you very much for the files, description and video - I can reproduce the issue now. The easiest short-term fix for you is probably to just open up the dgedit session file in a text editor and alter the line 173, from <prefix>Smare Drag</prefix> to <prefix>Snare Drag</prefix> I will try to fix ...

Re: DGEdit export issues
I cannot reproduce this. Could you supply more detailed description of the steps you have taken? Maybe even a video? That would be most helpful.

Re: [SOLVED] DrumGizmo UI missing? [Ardour]
If you just install libsuil-dev before compiling ardour it should work also.
Ardour detects this during its configuration phase but it does not report it as an error if it does not find it.

Re: DGEdit export issues
I'm afraid I do not quite understand what it is you did?
So you imported the files into a DGEdit session and the filenames had type-o's in them?
And then you fixed them in the instrument names but they were exported with the filenames containing errors anyway?

Re: Question on Muting
If I remember correctly there was a regression error in 0.9.19 that made the directed chokes no longer work.
It has been fixed in git, but we have made no release containing the fix yet.

Re: DrumGizmo UI missing? [Ardour]
DrumGizmo does not rely on any external UI libraries.
If you compiled Ardour yourself, my guess would be that you perhaps did not build it with libsuil?

Re: Question on Muting
- I'd like to ask how I can mute a single instrument, i.e. grabbing a cymbal to stop it from ringing out. I can't figure out how to do this. I'll be using Ardour to sequence this, if that helps. Muting of instruments can be done using after touch midi events. Sending an aftertouch event with veloci...

Re: Aasimonster Ardour Template outdated?
The template was made with an older version of Ardour (maybe as old as 4.x) so it could simply be a matter of Ardour no longer supporting templates that old?

Re: DGPatchMaker, a graphical tool for creating DrumGizmo patches from sample libraries
Do you have a DrumGizmo version with 18 output channels? If you compile DrumGizmo yourself from sources you can use the the '--enable-custom-channel-count=18' argument with ./configure to use a custom channel count. It can in theory be any number you like. EDIT: DrumGizmo shouldn't crash though, so...
