Re: GeekOSDAW, does it work with Tumbleweed?

Also, BTW you guys are doing a terrific job, the Package lists are quite something! Kudos! Thanks! We just tried to collect the wonderful work of many FLOSS developers. I would personally consider the repo feature-complete because we have high-quality software covering all major areas of music-maki...

Re: what sequencer to teach my kid?

I would go for MusE, because it's very easy to pick up and has easy-to-use audio and MIDI capabilities. Else, Ardour.

Re: Ends of the earth (full video edit) and announcement

The sound you get from samples is just amazing, how do you do it! I dislike them even in many commercial records, but you make them sound credible :D

Re: Two soundtrack pieces

Sea of pain is great at creating atmosphere with so little arrangement. Very nice synth work!

Fog and white roses is a nice and moving composition. For being a symphonic piece played by a computer, this is not an easy feat to achieve!

Re: Axiom (EP)

Wow great! Love instrumental guitar music. I very much like the middle-eastern influences in Roots, Armadillo and Axiom. I prefer the tracks without melodic synths. As for guitar, most parts did not sound like they were played on single-coils, I think you got a great distorted tone out of them! Good...

Re: Quantum | Slow & Dark DnB

It's clear that you have a pretty good ear when it comes to the spectrum. I feel like the track could have more direction (more melody) but more than criticism, take it as a compliment because I think you have huge potential, keep at it :D

Have you been listening to more Bach lately? :D Like it a lot! This time I also liked your use of vocal chops.

I am not a huge fan of synth voices but I like very much how you use it. And I like your songwriting, arrangement and composition. :D

Re: My entry for the June KVR contest

I recently (how come!) discovered a talented synth pioneer from the 70s, Suzanne Ciani. This now has reminded me of her work, but actually I knew your music first and I can definitely feel the continuity with your other work. Nice, I always get relaxed when I hear your tunes :D
