I checked out the links to KXStudio. I'm paranoid to try and load it as an overlay to my Ubuntu Studio, because if something goes wrong, I'll be re installing my distro for the umpteenth time. WINE is hit and miss at best, and if the program was designed for Win7 or later, it's even less likely to work. Do you have a link from where you downloaded the program?
