Re: Letters

Very good song and production. I particularly like the way you vary the reverb depth to bring the voice forward in some places.

Re: Yoshimi

Thanks for your support all. I should mention that this latest feature came from Kristian, who is also one of the main devs. Oh, and Lorenzo, who was the one who asked if something like this could be done, has quickly produced a demo using it :D https://gitlab.com/lorenzosu/yoshimi-demos/-/raw/main/...

Re: Yoshimi

Hello there, how can I use the Yoshimi Synth in MusE. I have Yoshimi already on my system but don't know how to get it into MusE. Hope there is no compiling or such necessary. Did you compile Yoshimi yourself or use the distros version? Some distros don't install the LV2 build, only the standalone....

Yoshimi V2.3.2 released

There is a new feature here that was requested by one of our users. This is the ability to have independent Left and Right delay times on the Echo effect. This can result in (apparently) random left/right bounces. If BPM is fixed as well quite complex repeatable bounce patterns can be generated. The...

Re: Zebralette 3

It is stunningly deep and rich. If a free single oscillator synth with no filter can sound this good I can't wait to hear what Zebra 3 will be capable of. So I have an incredibly ignorant question, but my dad once told me those are the ones worth asking the most. This is a synth, right? It creates…...

A Puff Piece

Today marks exactly ten years since the first commit I made to Yoshimi after having been plonked in the hot seat, having virtually been told to sit there by a certain Mr J.B. I said at the time I'll try to keep it going until someone comes along who knows what they're doing. Well, while I've been wa...

We really need to find another host for these meetings :(
I've spent over 1/2 hr trying to get in but jitsi keeps insisting I need to use chromium... even when I'm using chromium

So, I was going to join you but I simply can't now

Saturday 10th works for me - remembering and not getting side-tracked is usually the problem :(
