Re: Are cross platform projects possible?
I use bitwig on windows laptop and my studio desktop pc runs debian. I use the projects on both devices. Have the same plugins(opensource and closed) , but only have to watch out that i use vst2 plugins in bitwig for windows so i don't have issues when opening the project on my debian studio pc. On ...

Re: Are you a 'fan' of the music you create ?
Yes and no. When i create a new track and send it to labels for releasing for sure! I woudn't send it if i don't like it. But when i create new tracks i like them more then the 'old' ones, just because om bit bored of hearing the previous ones. But then again, when i was half year back at a annivers...

Re: No GUI for ZynAddSubFX
Seems like it yes if not it, you would get message 'not found' for certain libraries. Maybe it has something to do with renoise. If you startup reaper from commandline with somekind of verbose option(if possible) do you get something when opening gui of when you add zyn plugin to a track? I don't ha...

Re: No GUI for ZynAddSubFX
on commandline you can execute ldd command. Via this command you can see the dependencies of zynaddsubfx. Probably you miss some libraries i think for the GUI. New zynaddsubfx makes use of 'zest' as i see on the website. so 'ldd zynaddsubfx.so' in case of vst will output a list of the dependencies. ...

looks very interesting. To bad it's only lv2, vst would be handy for me .
And what is compressing a midi signal? It that like when velocity of incoming note is 10, you get an output of 127 in most extreme form?

Re: Latency Meter doesn't work
Hm, actually I made a connection from capture_1 which is channel 1 of my interface (where I connected a microphone) to the input of the Meter channel and connected the output of Meter channel to Master input. Isn't that the way it's meant to be? Normally when checking latency. You route the latency...

AKAI MPC virtual Emulator
Hi, I saw this passing by on a dutch synthforum. An emulator of the mpc2000. Haven't played with it yet, but it has also Linux version. vst2 and standalone version (no id if the standalone supports Jack). It's pretty experimental and tested on Ubuntu 18.04 and arch Linux that author writes. Gonna pl...

Re: New Dragonfly Reverb beta release v2.9.0
Generally with the Dragonfly Room I have the feeling that the more Dry signal is more pronounced in the left channel. When using only Late Level it seems that the Reverb starts in the left channel and bounces to the right then. It's obvious when one only listens to the wet signal, but I guess that'...

Re: How long do you need to finish a song?

This weekend i did one in 2 days (on headphones), fatest ever for me :), but i first have to check it again the studio to make sure everything is good. Never mixed on headphones.. But busy with studio works like accoust...

Re: AllMusic and Discogs
i use discogs already like 15 years. For me it's a music database. I've got around 3000vinyls and in that way it's easy to know what i have and don't have. If i search something i can find it more easy in my collection via categories i made on discogs according to my collection. I'm planning also to...
