Re: Zrythm - A free GNU/Linux Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) focused on electronic music and high modularity
I'm not sure if there's something not working with my system but it seems very young at the moment. I can't access the preferences (most items in the menu do nothing) and the size of the window is fixed although it looks like it shouldn't be from some of the options available. I couldn't make it pl...

Re: Carla: Building issues
I’ve no idea how wine is packaged in openSUSE, but have you installed 32-bit wine packages, too (including devel)?

Re: Carla: Building issues
It’s because of wine 3.21 or newer. In order for the bridges to compile, you need to downgrade wine to 3.20. I maintain the build scripts for the wine bridges on Arch and ran into the same issue a couple of weeks ago.

Re: The Lush Life (InfamousPlugins)
Sorry, I'm a little confused, rebuilding ardour makes it work or rebuilding lush life? I don't know if there's anything that could be learned from comparing the x42 fat1 plugins pkgbuild to infamous, or maybe we could compare whatever dependencies versions I have on my Arch install here to what you...

Re: The Lush Life (InfamousPlugins)
I've done one of Qtractor and both git and official repo version freezes at add plugin A plugin causing such freeze is not unheard of. It’s happened to me before. But that was a few years ago. Detecting and removing the culprit sorted it out for me. except it's when I click 'add plugin'. no plugin ...

Re: The Lush Life (InfamousPlugins)
OK, guys, I might be on to something here. I tried the plugin on my laptop (an old, rather crappy machine with a very crude Arch install, very few programs, etc.), just to see if I could repeat Spencer’s result. It kept crashing with the AUR version. Then I thought I should try the latest stable rel...

Re: The Lush Life (InfamousPlugins)
Just a quick question... what buffer size for jack/audio are you using? Perhaps the plugin is expecting a power-of-2 value, but jack can run with any arbitrary number. Buffer size is set at a comfortable 1024. I always use powers of 2 for these values. Tried loading the plugin at 96kHz, still crash...

Re: The Lush Life (InfamousPlugins)
Neither do I. I mean, I write some software, but I’m not a shark when it comes to it. I’ll repackage some stuff the morrow (it’s 1:13 AM here, not my best of times).

Re: The Lush Life (InfamousPlugins)
Please let me know if there is anything I can do to assist. I am the maintainer of the build script in the AUR, so I am partly responsible for it after all.
