Re: Making Music Fill Speakers
Increase the periods/buffer in qjackctl setup window. 256 frames is too low for working with Jamin. You have lots of xruns! This means dropouts or noise. Increase to at least 1024 frames per period. You don't care about latency at this stage. Also, as you don't need to capture anything for your mas...

And what is MONSANTO?
I removed the SYSTEM CAPTURE from the mix to no avail. Do you want me to go back to before the mix export and remove it from all the individual tracks and then export to this new session?

Re: Making Music Fill Speakers
Monsanto is a another name for my song "Tell The Truth". It is about the nefarious activities of this untouchable cuttthroat corporation. Monsanto gave us DDT, Agent Orange, and now under everyone's nose........ahem..........has been genetically modifying our food for the last 10 years. Th...

Re: Making Music Fill Speakers
Alright I disconnected from Jamin as you can see in the below attachment, Patchage now reflects that. But I am still getting that static. What is really strange is that after I open Patchage, everything gets real slow and skips now along with the static. In fact in order to return things to just the...

Re: Making Music Fill Speakers
...And it seems to me that jamin outs are connected to system: playbacks in addition to ardour's "insert 1_ins". Jamin must be an insert from/to ardour and no more. You don't want jamin outs to system playbacks! Did you notice this part ^^^ of Pablo's above message? Looks to me like the j...

Re: Making Music Fill Speakers
Here is a better view of Patchage. So they are indeed connected like you say to System Playback. How do I remove them without removing them all? Can I do this in Ardour?
I also attached a picture of Ardour during normal audio playing. Look at the top DSP looks about %60.

Re: Making Music Fill Speakers
Here is the correct layout with everything connected as you guys set me up. This is different from the first one I showed you. I tried removing the System Capture and everything slows down and skips like really bad like with static. I actually then had to exit out of Jack even and reopen it and Ardo...

Re: Making Music Fill Speakers
If I were sitting in front of your machine, I could probably track this down. But I am a little stumped. Do you have any other JACK apps you could patch into the insert to see if the static is there? What about if you take the insert, and just patch the OUTS to the INS to see what happens? Anyone e...

Re: Making Music Fill Speakers
Answer to Ricardus question. The static is not present in silence. Only when I am singing, on this vocal track. Just exported the bass track to see if I get it there as well to rule out it being the microphone and yes it is there when I strike the bass but no static in silence before the bass.

Re: Making Music Fill Speakers
Many times freq scaling is set in BIOS. But I see the drops to 0 and understand that that is the signal. I'd set out to find the signal. Others here are more sophisticated than I am and should be able to offer better advice. But that's where I'd roll. When u say find the signal, do you mean the sou...

Re: Making Music Fill Speakers
Ricardus, are you saying to open a new session, record a guitar track without playing, export it and then open this .WAV in JAMin?
Luster, I don't know if I do or not. I looked for frequency scaling programs and couldn't find any.
