Any experiences with Guitar Amp Modeling hardware on Linux?

I recently purchased a Digitech GNX3000 and love it. I've heard some complaints about the default patches but they sound good enough to me that I haven't really found the need to create my own.

I've had some luck with TiMidity++. I know it's not quick, but I usually just open .mid's in Rosegarden and use QSynth for the synthesizer.
